Claranet finalist in ISPA awards for 2nd year running

Claranet has been chosen as a finalist in the coveted Best Business Fixed Broadband and Best Business Customer Service ISP categories of the 2010 ISPA Internet Industry Awards. Claranet, a finalist in both these categories last year, won Best Business Fixed Broadband Provider in the 2009 ISPA awards.

Each year the ISPA Awards reward the UK’s top internet companies after a process that involves thorough technical testing and judging from an independent panel.

Michel Robert, Managing Director of Claranet UK said:

Being nominated as a finalist in the ISPA awards is an independent validation of the high quality of service we are proud to offer. The fact that Claranet was a finalist in exactly the same categories last year and in fact went on to win the Best Business Fixed Broadband Provider award demonstrates our consistency and attention to detail in all aspects of our service. We believe this sends a strong message to our customers, and one we are extremely proud of.

Nicholas Lansman, ISPA Secretary General, added:

The battle for finalist places was ultra-competitive again this year with a large number of entries in all categories and I congratulate Claranet on its achievements.

Finalists in the majority of categories were selected based on three months of rigorous testing by ISPA’s technical testing partner, Epitiro. Responsibility for selecting the award winners now lies with a high-profile panel of expert, independent judges, which is this year chaired by Think Broadband Editor Andrew Ferguson. They will be announced on July 8th 2010.
