Claranet nominated twice for The UK Internet Industry Awards

Leading Managed Services Provider for business going for Best Business gongs

Claranet, the managed services provider for business, is nominated in two categories at The 2008 ISPAs - the 10th Annual UK Internet Industry Awards. Claranet will challenge for the title of Best Business Broadband and will seek to retain the coveted Best Business ISP award which it won in 2007, 2003 and 2002.

This year sees the 10th anniversary of The ISPAs, and Claranet will be hoping to join in the celebrations by taking the Best Business ISP award for an unprecedented fourth time. The ISPAs are recognised as the premier awards within the industry because all entrants' services are independently tested, with the final winner selected on a variety of criteria including the diversity of services, pricing and customer support.

"The nomination reflects our commitment to providing first class connectivity among our range of managed services for businesses, including hosting and applications, backed up by our deserved reputation for outstanding quality, reliability and award-winning customer support. To be in the running once again for Best Business ISP shows that we're not the kind of company to rest on our laurels. It would be a fantastic result to take home the award for the fourth time, and a unique achievement in the history of these awards.Michel Robert, Managing Director Claranet UK

The winners of The ISPAs will be announced on March 14th at The London Marriot Hotel in Grosvenor Square.
