Claranet toasts to ten years of expert connectivity and IT services

Bonanza birthday bash to celebrate Claranet's tenth anniversary

Claranet, the Internet experts that develop, support and manage communication and information technology for business, is toasting its tenth anniversary with a grand birthday party in London tonight.

Claranet is laying on cocktails, music and entertainment to celebrate its growth over the last ten years.

Claranet was established in 1996, offering dial-up Internet access services in the UK. Today the company operates fourteen offices in seven countries, supplying Internet services to more than 300,000 business customers. Whilst refusing to abandon its ever-loyal customer base, the company has built on its service portfolio to become an IT services provider delivering tailored, innovative and dependable Internet solutions to business customers.

Strategy For Continued Success

Claranet's ongoing strategy reflects the changing ways that businesses will consume technology in the future.

Charles Nasser, Claranet's founder and CEO explains:

The appetite of businesses for new technology will continue to grow. New technologies make business IT and communications increasingly complex and difficult to manage. Specialists like Claranet can take care of companies' IT needs, while they take care of their business. Claranet develops, supports and manages customers' IT products and services. We aim to be seen as our customers' technology partner, delivering efficiency, effectiveness and ultimately a competitive advantage."

Bonanza Birthday Bash

The party at Sketch - Mayfair's suave food, art and music venue - will be attended by Claranet's UK office, senior members of Claranet's overseas staff and specially invited guests.

Ministry of Sound's Hed Kandi and Marilyn Monroe - who will sing a sultry "Happy Birthday" to Claranet - will provide the evening's music.

Revellers will be able to enjoy Claranet's very own Casino Royale, with Roulette, Blackjack and other casino games, as well as a mind reader, magician and even a pickpocket. A roaming camera crew will record the festivities and interview partygoers. In an interesting twist, guests will be asked "What was your greatest achievement when you were ten?"

Charles Nasser says:

Ten years is a terrific achievement and I'm very grateful to all those people who have made it possible. While other companies have come and gone, Claranet is celebrating a decade of happy customers and organic growth. While our business strategy will continue to evolve, Claranet will continue to focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
