• High-volume database transport.

With MPLS networks there is no need for network configuration changes at each site, and remote workers are able to move from office to home with ease. In addition, no specialist configuration or software is required on the worker's computer, removing a layer of complexity from each site. As all traffic is enclosed within the private network, complex firewall deployments are unnecessary.

Customers with requirements for Quality of Service (QoS) are also catered for. The Claranet VPN Fasttrack service is designed for latency and jitter dependant voice and data applications such as VOIP and streaming video. This service therefore allows business-critical data to be prioritised ensuring that, during busy periods on the customer network, non business-critical data (such as employee web surfing) does not interrupt critical transmissions.
