If your Claranet e-mail address is johnsmith@clara.co.uk this would make your ADSL logon username johnsmith@adsl-1.uk.clara.net or johnsmith@adsl-2.uk.clara.net. The syntax after the @ symbol is known as the ADSL Gateway. The gateway affiliated with your account would have been sent to you once the service was activated.
