Managed Services Provider Claranet successfully completed its Certification as "Advanced Service Provider" from Berlin's snom technology plc. Claranet's Hosted PBX-solution was extensively tested in the snom laboratories and characterised with its trouble-free interoperability with snom IP-telephones. Recently Claranet achieved the Innovation Award for the best medium sized business solution at CeBIT 2008 as "most innovative and most interesting medium sized business solution" for its Hosted PBX solution.
The status of an Advanced Service Provider is awarded if there are additional options beyond those provided from the net protocol SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). This includes basic options like Call Hold or DTMF- functionality and additional telephone options like Voice Mail, calltransfer call-back, or special hold music.
