Claranet builds on Microsoft Azure Expert status with Advanced Specialisation in – Azure Virtual Desktop

Claranet has been recognised by Microsoft for its Advanced Specialisation in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), adding to its Microsoft Azure expert recognition.

Claranet, the global technology service provider, has received Microsoft Advanced Specialisation recognition demonstrating very high knowledge in the implementation processes, desktop scaling, and virtualized applications in Microsoft Azure, using Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Previously recognised as an Azure Expert Microsoft Partner in 2018 for demonstrating expertise of Microsoft’s Azure cloud ecosystem, AVD is just one of the ways Claranet can support customers in their unique innovation and digital transformation projects and migrate to the cloud.

Mark Turner, Director of Cloud Business, Claranet, says:

Over the past year, we have seen an increase in interest from clients when it comes to cloud migration, which includes solutions such as Azure Virtual Desktop. At Claranet, we are all about helping our clients migrate and we always strive to be innovative in our services, offering our customers a competitive edge. In fact, we were one of the first Microsoft Partners to have offered clients AVD, even when it was still in its BETA form. We’re delighted to have been recognised by Microsoft for our expertise on both Microsoft Azure and now Azure Virtual Desktop.

Claranet leads the way when it comes to helping customers migrate to the cloud. Competitive Edge is Claranet’s trusted modular framework which has been developed to suit the individual needs of every business to support migration to cloud platforms such as Azure. Whether investigating options at an early stage or starting a new project or programme, Claranet caters for every phase of the cloud journey, providing expertise and support along the way, including the implementation of AVD.

To achieve the distinction of Advanced Specialisation in AVD, Claranet has complied with a rigorous certification process which covers several key areas, ranging from obtaining competence as Microsoft's Gold Partner and the specific technical value of their collaborators, to the performance tests and approval in audits.
