The Claranet network can now give you direct access to public cloud services from Amazon Web Services and Azure, without the need to transmit data over the internet.
Our new Cloud Connect service enables an environment on a public cloud service to appear as a node on your Claranet MPLS network, just like your own data centre, or Claranet data centre services, do now. This service allows for high performance, secure connectivity, without data transfer charges.

Claranet are also starting work on a range of managed services that we will offer from public cloud platforms, initially based on Amazon Web Services. These services will allow you to access the scale and technical innovation available from public cloud services, but with the support of Claranet expertise through the lifecycle of your project.
Through design, build, in-life evolution and support, our teams will ensure that your business needs are delivered using the best tools available for the job. Services will including tooling to support rapid code release, as well as the potential to combine public cloud services with Claranet hosted services where applicable.
We’re creating this capability by drawing on the existing Claranet teams and skills, but also drawing on the recent acquisitions made in the UK and also in the wider Claranet group. Teams are currently undergoing training but do talk to us about your plans and requirements as we build this exciting new range of services.
